Limo or car? Ride in groups or just couples? Those questions seem to be at the forefront of people’s minds when they think about transportation for prom.

While a limo may sound fun. renting it may be expensive. On the other hand some want the whole “prom experience ,” and a limo is a huge part of that regardless of cost.

We have listed a few ideas and pros and cons so you can make your own choice. Remember, no matter how you get to prom, it is important to be safe (a little bit of Prom Promise there for you).

Limos:

A limo will make prom night that much more special.

Pros to renting a limo include arriving in style, getting to ride with a group of people ( which can alieve sometimes awkward car rides to prom), and well let’s just be honest…who doesn’t love to ride in a limo?

The bad side of limos is that they can sometimes be expensive and after buying the flowers, the dress, the tux, the dinner, and everything else… most people will be stretched out financially. Also after calling many Limo Renting Companies and finding that most were shut down we were only able to find one Limo company that had one limo left on May 8th. So if you haven’t rented a limo yet it is probably too late.

Car:

The pros to driving your car or a parents car include saving money. Also you can use your car to drive wherever you want, whenever you want on prom night.

Cons to driving a car include not being able to be with as many people. Cars are obviously smaller than limos and so obviously less people can ride. Also a con to riding in your own car is that you don’t get the same “prom experience” as riding in a limo.
