CES (Consumer Electronics Show) holds one of the most technologically advanced conventions in the world. It exhibits many new inventions and new inventions to come. Many of the inventions are surprisingly advanced it has been said to launch the next decade of innovation.

More then 2,500 technology companies introduced more then 20,000 new products this past week. Cutting-edge technology trends amazed crowds throughout the 2010 International CES show floor including advances in 3D technology, mobile DTV, tablets, netbooks, eReaders, apps, connected TVs, embedded internet technologies and green technology. Major innovations creating a buzz from CES included the Android OS, Lenovo’s IdeaPad U1 Hybrid, Microsoft’s Project Natal and Sprint’s 4G network.

CES has exhibited some really interesting new technologies. The Panasonic full 3D HD TV is bound to get the attention of the consumers. There is also internet enabled televisions and fully touch screen computers. Toshiba unveiled a prototype of a television that doesn’t require a remote control. TV watchers simply wave their hands in the air to control the menu, fast-forward movies and turn the volume up or down. The Tivit, a cute, credit-card-sized device, catches live television signals — like local weather and news — and brings them to smartphones such as the iPhone, Blackberry and Droid. Tablet computers created quite a stir at CES. These mid-sized devices fall somewhere between mobile phones and laptops in the computer continuum. The IdeaPad U1 actually has a removable touchscreen with the capabilities of a full computer without the keyboard.

CES had many technologies that consumers would love to see hit the market. And in fact a good majority of the products are going to hit the shelves within the next 5 years. So as long as you start saving up for theses expensive luxuries they could soon be yours to own.
