Hate the new cellphone policies? Love the new agendas? Wish we could change something at school? Add your comment below and we’ll put it in our Rants and Raves. Obviously, all comments have to be appropriate for school and pass through a screening process, so they won’t immediately appear. Check back later to see if you made the cue.

Well hmm I’m a freshman and i didnt know how strick the cellphone policy was.! and on the first day i had my cellphone hanging out my pocket and a teacher pulled me in a corner and bit my head off about haivng it out.
last year in middle school they wasnt so hard on us but now, it’s a another story!
They need to calm down.
and i don’t even write in my agenda but come on, they can do better than that. were not that poor!
and one more thing…well i have nothing more to say so bye

DITTO!!!! i dont always have time to actually wait in the looonnng line for pizza, or Arby’s, or Checker’s or whatever is out there. so i settle for the vending machines. but it doesnt exactly help with nourishment if i dont get the chips i pay for!!!

okay, so it is so stupid that we cant have our cell phones. i dont drive to school, therefore, i cant leave it in my car and i am NOT leaving it in my locker! that is soo dumb. and if something were to come up, i wouldnt have my phone bc of the stupid policy. its riduculous. and another thing that really bothers me is this dumb PDA thing. what the heck? some teachers write you up for a hug while there are plenty of other kids practically shoving their tongues down each others throats! some teachers are just UGH. they seriously need to slow their roll. and as for the vending machines, they have some outrageously overpriced stuff. OH OH OH!!! AND! this no twilight thing this year is soo dumb. misbehavior is supposed to reflect in a 1.warning, 2.p/t conference, 3.detention, 4.twilight, 5.iss, 6.oss, THEN 7.expelled. NOT one write up leads to ISS. but no, they totally just skip the other steps. i understand we may not have twilight anymore for various reasons but one write up should not lead to automatic iss. or atleast i think so. i think it is absolutely stupid.

what the [heck] is up with this stupid rule if you have a hole above your knee on your jeans they send you home??
Shouldn’t the school be worring about their budget and the actual education of the students then whether or not there is a tiny hole in your jeans?
It’s small [stuff] like this that drives us students crazy. JUST TEACH US don’t freaking control the way we dress.

The reason for the new cell phone policy is because the old one wasn’t working. However, the old policy was not working because it wasn’t being enforced, not because it was to lax. I also don’t drive to school so I can’t leave it in my car, and even if I could it would get messed up due to high temperature or low temperature. I also don’t want to leave it in my locker because there is a chance of it getting stolen. I can’t leave it at home though because I need it in case something happens such as practice getting cancelled or I need to do something after school. I need to let my parents know. Although I know a cell phone policy is nessecary, I also know that stricter rules are not going to help. The new rules have merely sent more people to ISS, not cut down on cell phone usage.

If you keep speaking down to people who just want to speak their minds without proper structure or grammar, they won’t comment on this page. Let them speak and type how they want–it’s not your problem. Do you not have anything better to do than to criticize others?

I very much doubt they won’t comment on this page either way. But more importantly, having people typing with proper spelling and grammar will improve the reputation of your site, perhaps making its comment sections rise above “Youtube comment box” level.
For another, I do have a number of better things I could be doing. But I don’t really feel like doing them right now. I’d rather offer some constructive criticism to hopefully allow other people and this site some advice to improve themselves/itself.
By the way, what’s with the assumption that if you’re doing something on the internet, you have nothing better to do? I keep seeing this all over the place, and it is pretty annoying.

So I’m three steps away from the door out of the cafeteria and I put my beanie on because it’s freezing out as I soon as I get close enough to leave I hear Mr.Johnson’s voice “Excuse me, young man!” and she takes my hat, and tells me to go on my way. That’s wayyyyy too excessive…she has no idea what special meaning that hat had to me. Thanks for taking an item that was passed down to me after I lost that family member ya [jerk]!
