		<description>Late to the party, but I am in total agreement. I lived in Aiken for six years, and I was so appalled at the dismal shopping in that mall that I drove out to the Augusta Mall regularly. 

Aiken as a town is pretty nice, but that mall needs a LOT of work. Still. It doesn&#039;t seem to have lost anymore stores, but I don&#039;t think it&#039;s really gained anything either. [Been by briefly because of the Books-A-Million that&#039;s there now, but it hasn&#039;t improved much.]</description>

		<description>Great article and right to the point.  As a frequent out-of-state visitor to the Aiken area I am appalled at how bad the Aiken Mall has become.  It&#039;s not only a bad shopping experience as you described, but it is depressing and gives the entire area a bad aura.  I don&#039;t even like to go into that area anymore.  Too bad.</description>
