2009 has been a great year for movie releases. As we hit October we think of Halloween, and the scary movies that come out in the theater. Starting with the beginning of October, Zombieland hit the theaters on October 2nd.

Zombieland combines suspense, horror, and comedy. The horror comedy  focuses on two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. It is rated R, and it had the second highest-grossing start on record for a zombie movie.movies

They’re toys, they talk–at least when people aren’t around–and they’re back…celebrating the return of the Toy Story franchise–this time in Disney Digital 3D.  For all those of us who are still kids at heart, Toy Story 2 in 3 hit the theaters on October 2nd as well.

The Stepfather premieres this Friday, October 16. Michael(Penn Badgley) returns home from military school to find his mother happily in love and living with her new boyfriend. As the two men get to know each other, he becomes more and more suspicious of the man who is always there with a helpful hand.If you are a Gossip Girl fan, and you have a crush on Penn Badgley aka “Dan Humphrey,” then you should definitely go watch The Stepfather.

For those who have been counting the days waiting for November 20, we have The Twilight Saga: New Moon. This movie stars Robert Pattinson, Kristin Stewart, and the beloved wolf Taylor Lautner. The movie starts with Bella celebrating her 18th birthday and wanting to become a vampire. If you are a Twilight fan, make sure you go check this movie out.

We all love sitting in the couch with hot chocolate to watch Christmas movies. Jim Carrey stars in a remake of the Christmas Carol. Disney’s A Christmas Carol captures the fantastical essence of the classic Dickens tale in a groundbreaking 3-D motion picture event.
