Is Buying Better than Trying?

Is buying a paper on the internet better than trying to write the paper on your own?

The answer to this question is most likely, NO. As everybody at North Augusta High School and the whole nation knows, Barrack Obama laid out secrets to succeeding in school to students across the United States and maybe to the whole world. But some students may just be, well… a little bit lazy in their school work.

A simple Google search listed one-hundred and eighty three million websites consisting of “buying term papers” (not to give anybody ideas).

These websites actually create a paper based on your subject. Students are able to purchase the papers for around eight dollars. One specific website even offers “non-plagiarized” research papers.

The websites “understand how difficult it is” for a student to begin a term paper, or “understand how exhausted you are when you get home from school.” So the question is a fun night out, or doing your term paper?

Students may think that buying a term paper may be the best way to get a their paper done and a way to get a good grade, but in the teacher’s eyes, it’s simply called cheating.

Students think they will be getting a good grade, but if they get caught cheating they could suffer expulsion. Just like President Obama said, “there is no excuse for not trying.”

So, what do you think?  Add a comment to the bottom of this article  if you’ve ever been tempted to use a “paper mill,” or even if you’ve had “friends” who have tired and succeeded (or failed).

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
